Knighton Motors carries out repair work on modern and classic petrol and diesel vehicles from our Church Road workshop in Knighton. We also look at hybrid vehicles where the vehicle has an internal combustion engine.
Please note: we do not work on fully electric vehicles. A vehicle must have a petrol or diesel engine for us to consider the repair.
If your vehicle has developed a fault or needs repair attention, call the workshop with the vehicle details and a clear description of the problem. This gives us useful information before the vehicle is brought in and helps us discuss whether the work falls within the repairs we undertake.

Classic and vintage vehicles
Classic and vintage vehicles are welcome at Knighton Motors and are treated with particular care. Older vehicles often need a more considered approach because of their age, condition and parts availability. If you have a classic vehicle, call us with the make, model, year and a description of the problem before bringing it to the workshop.
Assessment before repairs go ahead
We believe you should understand what is being done to your vehicle before the repair begins. We assess the job, identify the work required and contact you with the relevant prices and total cost so you can decide whether you want us to proceed.
Where a repair involves an unexpected issue, additional work or a change to the estimated completion time, we contact you and explain what has changed rather than leaving you without an update.
Repair times and progress updates
Once work has been agreed, we provide an estimated repair time based on the job in front of us. Vehicle repairs do not always follow a fixed timetable, particularly where age, condition, parts or an unexpected fault affects progress. If the expected completion changes, we aim to keep you informed.
Collection and itemised invoice
When the vehicle is ready, we contact you to arrange collection. You receive a detailed invoice showing the services and parts required for the repair together with the associated prices.
Payment is due on collection. Knighton Motors does not offer customer accounts.

Do you repair fully electric vehicles?
No. Knighton Motors does not work on fully electric vehicles. The vehicle must have a petrol or diesel internal combustion engine.

We look at hybrid vehicles where the vehicle has an internal combustion engine. If you are unsure about a particular hybrid or repair, call us first with the vehicle details.
Will I be told the price before repairs begin?
We assess the job first and contact you with the work required, the relevant prices and the total so you can decide whether you want the repair to proceed.
What happens if the repair changes or takes longer than expected?
If an unexpected issue affects the work or estimated completion time, we contact you and explain what has changed.
What do I receive when the vehicle is ready?

Do you offer customer accounts?
